Pastor Wil Nichols is the founder and pastor of Victorious Praise Fellowship Church of God in Christ, a progressive cutting edge 21st century outreach ministry in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He is a first class husband, dedicated father and a committed shepherd to the Body of Christ.

Pastor Nichols graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He also graduated as salutatorian in his class from the Church of God in Christ Seminary in North Carolina.

Pastor Nichols and his wife founded the Victorious Praise Fellowship Church in 1998 with 10 members at a community center in Durham NC. Within 2 years their ministry grew and they purchased 7.2 acres of land in RTP, NC. In November of 2002, after only 4 years, they dedicated their new $2.3 million dollar Worship and Family Life Center. Today the ministry has grown to over 1200 members, 30 full time and part-time employees, and is now in the process of building a new youth center.

Pastor Wil Nichols is a true advocate for evangelism, which is evident in the church’s outreach ministries such as the Food pantry, Emergency assistance, Cell group meetings, Television ministry, College ministry, Summer camp, After school, and Community Development Corporation.

He is the author of two books, More Than Conquerors and The Complete Guide to Understanding the Holy Spirit. He is a television evangelist appearing three times weekly on the “More Than Conquerors” broadcast which is shown on PAX and UPN Television Networks in the Raleigh/Durham and surrounding areas.

Above all, Pastor Wil Nichols is Saved, Sanctified, and Filled with the Holy Spirit. He loves the Lord, loves his wife & children, and loves fulfilling his purpose, which is to make a difference in the lives of God’s people by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Grace Nichols accepted Christ at the age of 13 and was called into the ministry at the age of 16. She is honored to be married to a wonderful husband, Pastor Wil Nichols. God has blessed Pastor Wil and Dr. Grace with two beautiful children, Anthony and Crystal Nichols. Together they wrote the book “More Than Conquerors” and founded Victorious Praise Fellowship C.O.G.I.C.

As a scholar, Dr. Grace received a Bachelors Degree in Hospital Administration from Binghamton University, a Masters Degree in Education & Counseling from Kent State University, a Doctorate in Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Family & Therapeutic Counseling from Christian Bible College & Seminary. Her commitment to this great work goes far beyond the walls of the classroom. Dr. Grace has also established a model counseling program at the church she founded with her husband, Victorious Praise Fellowship.

During her professional career, Dr. Grace has seen first-hand the economic and social needs of our community. She is currently the President of two Boards, the Victorious Community Development Corporation and the Victorious Daycare & Pre-School Academy and also advises local youth groups and church youth departments. Additionally, Dr. Grace established a church daycare and preschool academy on the grounds of Victorious Praise Fellowship and assisted many others like Upper Room, Church of God in Christ in starting their Children’s Ministry as well. Her unyielding commitment in these areas has not gone unnoticed. In June of 2002, the Christian Career Business Women of America honored Dr. Grace for her business leadership contributions to organizations in the community.

In all of her endeavors, Dr. Grace exhibits a deep and unrelenting commitment to God and His vision for all people. She is an anointed woman of God that is on an assignment to mentor and minister to all of God’s people. In obedience to her call Dr. Grace founded Christian Leaders Today, a nationwide Pastors & Clergy Wives and Women in Leadership Fellowship. This fellowship now reaches Pastors wives in North Carolina, California, Alabama, Michigan and New York City. As the Director of the Women’s Ministry at Victorious Praise Fellowship, Dr. Grace educates, advises, and counsels women on a variety of topics. She also ministers at conferences on the local and national level to youth, singles, married couples, women’s ministries and pastor’s wives. As the co-author of the book “More Than Conquerors”, Dr.Grace seeks to empower God’s people through the knowledge of His word and the promise He has for each of our lives.

Dr. Grace Nichols is the epitome of what we want Christian Leaders to be today, living her life so that others may simply live. She is a constant reminder that God wants all leaders to serve His people and to do so willingly with a spirit of excellence. One of her favorite scriptures is found in Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. God’s plan guarantees victory every time. We are more than conquerors. We win!

Located in Research Triangle Park(Durham), North Carolina, Victorious Praise Fellowship Church of God in Christ, a progressive cutting edge 21st century outreach ministry was founded by Pastor Wil and First Lady Grace Nichols. With just 10 members and a willingness to serve God’s people, they started out on a lifelong journey that would transform Durham, NC and the surrounding areas.

Pastor Nichols received the vision of Victorious Praise Fellowship COGIC in 1997 while driving down I-85. In November of 1997, Pastor Wil, First Lady Grace, and 10 like-minded individuals met at the home of Pastor Nichols so that the vision and plan for Victorious Praise could be communicated. The first service of Victorious Praise Fellowship Church of God in Christ was held January 15, 1998 in the clubhouse of Lovett Square Apartments in Durham, NC.

From Vision to Reality….The Vision Continues

Within 2 years the ministry grew and was able to purchase 7.2 acres of land in RTP, NC. In November of 2002, after only 4 years of existence, we dedicated our new $2.3 million dollar Worship and Family Life Center. Victorious Praise Fellowship is a church which believes in evangelism, which is evident in the church’s outreach ministries such as the food pantry, emergency assistance, cell group meetings, television ministry, college ministry, summer camp, after school, and community development corporation, just to name a few. Because of these outreach endeavors and the “simplistic” but yet “thought provoking word” that God has given our pastor, the ministry today has grown to over 1500 members, has 30 full-time and part-time employees, and a new youth center.

Because of the phenomenal growth of the ministry, God has led our Pastor to kick off a 6 million dollar building campaign which will include a 3000 seat sanctuary, the “Victorious” Multi-purpose Family Life Complex which will house a bowling alley, movie theatre, gymnasium, workout center, business center, computer center, the Victorious CDC, and more.

God has continued to bless VPF to be a blessing to our community and achieve the vision that God has given our pastor, “To see our community, members and non-members, move closer to God and obtain or reclaim their God given promises while discovering God’s divine purpose for their lives.” Why don’t you help us win this world for Christ and build His kingdom.
